Lead Nurse – General Surgery, Breast and Vascular Surgical Service The Lead Nurse will provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to nursing staff within General Surgery, Breast and Vascular Surgical Service, supporting the achievement of organisational and directorate objectives and quality standards. The post holder will be a credible leader with a consistent approach to supporting both clinical and managerial teams in the delivery and achievement of high‑quality, compassionate and person‑centred care, whilst simultaneously driving quality initiatives and financial efficiency across the Directorate. The Lead Nurse must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, ensuring robust governance processes to support the delivery and assurance of excellent person‑centred care. Key Qualifications First Level Registered Nurse with extensive experience as a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse or equivalent. First‑level degree or equivalent qualifications.
