li>Manage all aspects of branch operations that include but not limited to employees, scheduling, efficiency, cost control, preventative maintenance, revenue opportunities and inventory levels.Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve branch performance.Monitor branch performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management.Develop and manage business relationships and customer contacts.Manage the morale in the branch by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers.Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service in the branch to exceed customer expectations.Monitor financial performance to ensure the branch is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.Analyzes and reports on the branch’s key performance indicators and industry/market trends.Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the branch.Monitor key business areas.Review and use the monthly financial statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years in a management or senior supervisory role.
  2. Qualified Journeyman Electrician and/or Instrument Technician.
  3. Preference given to those with post-secondary education in business.
  4. Must be local to the area or willing to relocate to the Drayton Valley, AB area.
  5. Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
  6. A clear and solid understanding of company policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
  7. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  8. A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  9. Ability to evaluate solutions in terms of business, financial and client impacts.
  10. Knowledgeable in MS Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
