As a smaller STAT Lab, it provides a varied caseload and a great learning environment. The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) rotates through Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion Medicine, and manual bench work, processing blood, urine, body fluids, and CSFs on site. Responsibilities include performing routine and complex tests, specimen collection, data entry into the LIS, validating and reporting results, maintaining analyzers, and preparing solutions and controls.This is a casual position, meaning hours are not guaranteed and shifts may be at short notice.
