Position Summary The Install Assistant will assist in the installation of countertop orders. Desired Skills & Experience No experience necessary; we will train the right person. Countertop installation or construction experience is a plus. Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality. Effective communication skills. Basic mathematical skills. Positive attitude and solid work ethic. Valid driver’s license. Required to pass a criminal record check. Able to carry upwards of 100 lbs – 200 lbs assisted. Regular bending, twisting, and kneeling. Local travel with occasional out‑of‑town travel. Available to work overtime as required. Duties and Responsibilities Assist installer with complete installation of countertops, maintaining a professional demeanor. Assist in clean removal of existing countertop and plumbing if required. Respond to customer inquiries and/or concerns while on the job site. Troubleshoot technical problems related to the installation as they arise. Work as closely to the schedule as possible and contact customer if running behind. Maintain company vehicle interior and exterior to company standards. Run errands that arise while at the job site, e.g., picking up missing pieces or tools from shop. Cross‑train on junior installer tasks as training evolves and as needed. Other duties as assigned.
