Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions tailored to the banking and financial services domain. Utilize your expertise in Java and React to build scalable, responsive, and intuitive web applications that meet business requirements and industry standards. Architect and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms to safeguard sensitive financial data and transactions. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality and interoperability of our banking applications. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and usability. Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the banking and financial services sector, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall product roadmap. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Extensive experience in software development using Java, with proficiency in building RESTful APIs and backend services. Strong proficiency in React.js and related libraries for developing modern, interactive user interfaces. Solid understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+. Experience working in Agile development environments, with a focus on delivering iterative, value-driven solutions. Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling concepts, particularly in the context of financial applications. Knowledge of security principles and practices related to web application development, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, PSD2). Certification(s) in relevant technologies or frameworks (e.g., Java, React).
