Assistant Town Planner - Takeley, Essex Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience) Location: Takeley, Essex Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Are you a motivated Assistant Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career with a leading residential developer? The company is a highly respected housebuilder with an impressive portfolio of high-quality developments across the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an ambitious planner to join their busy in-house planning team based in Takeley. Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation, coordination, and submission of planning applications and appeals Supporting the team with site assessments and feasibility studies Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders Conducting research on planning policy and legislation Preparing reports, statements, and supporting documents Providing general administrative and technical support to the planning department About You We're looking for someone with strong analytical and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in development and the built environment.
