The Construction Manager will support the deployment of our charging station network.Job DescriptionReporting to the Development and Implementation Director, the Construction Manager will have the following main responsibilities:Main ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects: produce plans with the Project Management Specialist – Construction and external contractors; coordinate works; monitor and correct deficiencies.Administrative follow‑up: pre‑project approvals, equipment orders, bid management, purchase orders, invoices, and expense forecasting in collaboration with administrative and financial departments.Optimize site design and installations.Maintain exemplary relationships and follow‑up with partners.Coordinate and plan the construction team.Ensure delivery of complete and functional charging sites to the network operations department.Visit charging sites.Requirements3 years of experience in construction project management.Practical knowledge of electrical and civil work.1 year of field operations experience.Team coordination experience.Exceptional customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft 365.Experience in projects involving Hydro‑Québec (asset).Experience applying for municipal permits for commercial projects (asset).Experience with electric vehicles and charging (asset).Experience with project management software (asset).Specific SkillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work with short deadlines.Ability to communicate quickly and concisely.Autonomy, sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and resourcefulness.Fluency in spoken and written French.Fluency in spoken and written English.Valid Class 5 driver’s license without any restrictions.Experience with AutoCAD files (asset).Class 1, 2, 3, or 4B driver’s license (asset).Conditions And BenefitsSalary: based on experience.Start date: January 2026.Contract type: Permanent, full‑time (40 hours/week).Location: On the road, remote work, and offices in Mile End.Some meetings may require physical presence at Papillons' offices or other municipalities, and you will attend various events across Quebec.Apple computer and all necessary software provided.Company phone provided.Group insurance.Those interested should submit a resume and cover letter explaining motivation no later than December 19, 2025, to chenilles@papillons.io.
