You will represent the company in engineering discussions with clients, partners, and subcontractors, and play a key role in delivering successful installations, resolving product issues, and supporting long-term reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist sales teams and clients with technical, procedural, and commercial supportRepresent the company in engineering design meetings with clients, subcontractors, and partnersTroubleshoot and resolve product issues during and after warranty periodsOrganize and coordinate stakeholders to address and resolve warranty casesDeliver product training and technical orientations to partners, installers, and potential customersEnsure installation procedures are correctly followed by field installersPrepare and submit technical reports and field service documentationWork in commercial and industrial facilities requiring PPE (e.g., safety footwear, eyewear)Use hand tools and brazing torches, occasional work in confined spacesPerform physically demanding tasks: bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting to 50 lbsQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with heat trace systems in industrial or commercial settingsLocated in or willing to relocate to the Greater Edmonton Area, including Fort McMurray and Fort McKay, within 90 daysAbility to work in an office/hybrid setting with flexibility to travel 25–80% across CanadaAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specificationsPhysical stamina and manual dexterity for hands-on field tasksKnowledge of Canadian and international codes and standards (CEC, NEC, IEC, IEEE)Experience supporting customers through installation and operational challengesAt Chemelex:We protect places of progress through electric excellence.Pioneering plants, sprawling data centers, busy transport hubs, and your own home.
