Job Title Tech Lead Company Beneva Internal Title Analyste développeur Employment Status Régulier Summary Relevant to the director – Data Integration, you will play a Tech Lead role within a BI delivery team. You will collaborate with the architect, developers/analysts, visualization developers, the Product Owner and the Scrum Master, using the tools to ingest data through to consumption to meet business needs. General Responsibilities Work closely with our automation tool (DWA), especially with complex features requiring excellent knowledge of it. Be responsible for special files: CI/CD, deployment, environments, proof of concept. Act as a consulting reference on norms and practices; ensure the application of predefined architecture rules. May make simple architecture decisions. Provide training and coaching for new developers and interns: pair programming, training on existing BI architecture and methodology, and monitor their work progress. Ensure high code quality from the team, notably through code reviews. Assist in coordinating developers’ activities. May produce progress reports and collaborate with the project manager/team leader. Collaborate on various exploratory, experimental and technology improvement projects. Help define the company’s BI development culture in collaboration with managers and architects. Conduct technical audits. Ensure proper operation, evolution, consistency and performance of IT systems across development and production layers. Play a complementary role to the architect, particularly on the operational side and when collaborating with other stakeholders like security or infrastructure. Assume any other related responsibilities or as requested by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications 7 years of relevant BI experience. Fluency in English and French, oral and written. Bachelor's degree. Master’s degree is an asset. Excellent SQL skills. Relevant ETL development experience. Knowledge of the data lifecycle. Knowledge of data modeling concepts. Experience with Snowflake is an asset. Strong communicator, experienced in resource coaching. Knowledge of the insurance domain is an asset. Agile project experience and/or knowledge of agile concepts is an asset.
