Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Public Relations located in the Greater Richmond Region. The Director of Public Relations will be responsible for managing press releases, media relations, public relations strategies, communication planning, and strategic communications initiatives on a day-to-day basis.


Qualifications

  1. Press Releases and Media Relations skills
  2. Public Relations and Communication expertise
  3. Experience in Strategic Communications
  4. Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  6. Knowledge of crisis management and media monitoring
  7. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  8. Experience in law enforcement or government agencies is a plus
