Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position are diverse, but all center on providing consistent resident satisfaction while working towards our energy conservation goals. Within your portfolio of buildings, you will problem-solve, collaborate with our HVAC and operations teams, and help direct plans for major investment in our HVAC systems.

  1. Maintain focus on resident satisfaction and energy conservation
  2. Troubleshoot and service all aspects of HVAC in high-rise apartment buildings including boilers (HTG/DHW), chillers, heat pumps, MUA, RTU, and HRV/ERV systems
  3. Service and maintain variable-frequency drives (VFD)
  4. Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
  5. Provide consistent monitoring and support of building automation systems
  6. Willingness and ability to learn how to monitor and fine-tune buildings through our automation systems
  7. Oversee HVAC-related mechanical projects
  8. Maintain HVAC logs as required
  9. Regularly update knowledge and skills through employer-sponsored educational programs
  10. Comply with all safety and TSSA code requirements
