We are looking for a

senior backend engineer with a devops focus

to join our growing dev team. This is a full time, long-term position for someone looking for a solid career with the opportunity to grow and continuously work with new technologies.

Responsibilities : Implement, test, release and manage CI/CD pipelines Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and efficient operations Manage and optimize the SQL database Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with our React applications, enhancing the user experience on our platform Analyze, develop, optimize, configure and test platforms Ensure the quality of the software delivered and develop automated testing Perform code reviews, code optimization and performance tuning Collaborate with Backend development teams to communicate with cloud solutions leveraging Lambda’s and API using Python Implementation of APIs, web services and microservices Monitor cloud resources and application performance, implementing best practices for optimization and cost management Optimize multi-media (image, audio, video files) processing and storage Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of applications Lead initiatives for cloud security, compliance, and risk management within the context of our memorial platform Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management of Reverse Proxy Conduct system troubleshooting and resolve issues across platforms and application domains, ensuring robust service continuity Prepare reports and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software Keep up with industry trends and make recommendations for enhancements in technologies and practices

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines Expertise in implementing SSO services (Cognito) Expertise in Reverse Proxy Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with serverless infrastructure Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in UAT/production environments Knowledge of system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks Strong communication and teamwork skills Plus: Solid background in frontend software development with ReactJS and Next.js.
