Manufacturing Chemical Engineer

to join our Mining Client in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full-time in person position offering comprehensive benefits and more.

Responsibilities

: The successful individual will provide technical support for explosive material productio n.Your role involves enhancing capital and non-capital projects by emphasizing reliabilit y,cost-effectiveness, quality and operability. You contribute to long-term sustainability a ndplant improvement by collaborating with engineering, production and maintenance team

s. As part of your role, you collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues as t heyarise. Additionally, you proactively identify areas for improvement and focus on optimiz ingnew solutions for maximum impact. Your expertise extends to identifying opportunit iesrelated to reliability, operability, raw material yields, capacity, energy efficiency, prod uctquality, safety and environmental consideratio

ns. In this role you will continue to hone your skills including but not limited to: 1. Project Manage ment 2. Process Engineering/Process Safety Management/Chem ical Manufacturing/ Reactive Chemi stry 3. Equipment Troubleshooting/ Equipment Reliabi lity 4. Continuous Improve

ents: B.S. Chemical Engineering degree OR equivalent degreeKnowledge of process control s ystemsExperience with chemical manufacturing equipment is a plus.Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, including ascending and descending stairsand la dders.Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of problem-solving skills and great decision making abi litiesMulti-tasking multiple assig nmentsAlways ensuring safety is pr
