Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey.We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.WeAreWSPWhat you can expect to do here:Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with various design and project activities in the office;Assist with preparing technical analysis and design;Assist with preparing technical reports;Use AutoCad Civil 3D to prepare design drawings;Use modelling software to create models for water and storm infrastructure;Assisting Field Inspectors onsite in construction coordination and inspection on projects in Kamloops and the surrounding area.Assisting Field Inspectors in resolving construction issues;Daily progress and HSE reporting;Completion of construction as-builts for record keeping/approval purposes.Other duties as assigned.What you’ll bring to WSP:2nd year or higher student pursuing your Civil Engineering DegreeExcellent communication skills – written and verbal, including teamwork and interpersonal abilities;Proficient technical writing abilities;Comfortable in working independently in a field and/or office environment;During field work, able to work outside up to 12 hours per day when requiredA suitable working vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position.Please note there will be no relocation allowance for this role so you must be able to locate to Kamloops, BC.Salary range (in British Columbia): $24.50/hr - $32.25/hrThe final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
