Process Engineer (6-month contract) [14201] We are currently recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team NOTE: Must be able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date. Responsibilities: Responsible for cylinder head machining launch Develop/Implement/Execute capability work plan Review capability data Prepare reports – review with responsible Management personnel Organize work plan with departmental salaried and hourly personnel to ensure required resources are available Ensure timelines are met Review Engineering drawings/process illustrations/Quality documents – update as required Interface/Mediate between various organizations to resolve open issues Support/Lead Production runs to ensure successful launch Work with suppliers and team to ensure all necessary process deliverables are met Ensure all documentation is uploaded into DCP Required Skills & Qualifications: Post‑secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent experience Three (3) years of automotive launch with cylinder head experience or related powertrain experience Ability to address production process issues with management and union team members Work with Product Engineering to address product launch challenges Work with machine suppliers to address MTO (Machine Try Out) issues Interface with skilled trades to support station readiness issues Other Perks & Benefits: Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc. Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October) MEDA offers an excellent referral bonus.
