This position is needed to enhance Twilio’s Cloud Security capabilities to improve visibility, reduce vulnerabilities and foster secure engineering practices. This role is going to help build key aspects of the program in partnership with different InfoSec and Engineering teams. This role will have a high impactResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:Lead and Contribute to Cloud Security initiatives across different teams to design, build and implement security best practices and solutionsImplement and enhance security automation to enhance Cloud SecurityMaintain Cloud Security solutions, measure their effectiveness and continuously improve based on strategic prioritiesDevelop and maintain Cloud Security guidelines and best practices to enable EngineersInvestigate security vulnerabilities and support incident response as neededResearch emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to proactively secure Twilio’s Cloud EnvironmentsQualificationsTwilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the tableRequired:5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering or related fields.Hands on experience with Cloud Security Solutions solutionsDeep understanding of security for Containers, Web, APIs, and Cloud-native workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP).Strong knowledge of Cloud Threats and modern attack vectorsExcellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders at different levelsCloud Security Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, GIAC)Experience with Threat ModelingLocationThis role will be remote, and based in Ontario, BC, or Alberta Canada.TravelWe prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other.
