Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeCA$60.00/hr - CA$60.00/hrOur client is looking for an Interim Controller for a 3-to-6-month contract in the Brantford area.In this role the Interim Controller will leverage their extensive manufacturing experience and lead a small team of Analysts to improve the closing and reporting processes, to help with costing and pricing, evaluate and set best practices for Month End process.Responsibilities:Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of metal stocks.Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including environmental and safety regulations.Performance Analysis: Analyze production performance and identify areas for improvement, using KPIs and other metrics.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to ensure smooth operations.Requirements:Education: CPA Designation preferred.Experience: Several years of experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector.Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, excellent communication and leadership abilities.Software: SAGE experience.Knowledge: Understanding of cost accounting principles, supply chain management, and industry-specific regulations.Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and drive continuous improvement.Teamwork: Effective team collaboration and communication skills.If you are already registered with The Mason Group, please contact your Recruiting Consultant directly with reference to job #19752.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesAccounting, Mining, and Industrial Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
