Join us.YOUR IMPACTOpenText is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the team as an experienced QA /Test Lead, Coordinator with hand-on experience on SFDC.The QA Lead is proficient in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies and will be primarily responsible for coordinating Integration testing activities (SFDC), test management, requirements and technical specifications reviews, analysis on functionality, creation and hands-on execution of test plans and test scenarios. The QA/Test Lead/ Coordinator will triage test issues while collaborating with other departments during the investigation, reproduction and closure of defects.What The Role OffersWork closely with IT development, business leads, vendors and product owners to understand full scope of features and pair with developers to advise and build test scripts (functional, integration, end-to-end, regressions, etc.) ensuring code coverage and qualityReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackOverseeing the administration of all tests, identifying correct test cycles and creating additional cycles where neededConduct all types of testing for third party software and internally developed applications (e.g., black box, functional, regression, integrations, load, stress, performance)Perform data validation, functionality and deployment process verificationEnsure that newly implemented system features, or enhancements meet user needsParticipate in meetings, walkthrough and presentations of new features as well as changes to existing functionalityDefining correct permissions and group membership for each project member in Octane (based on their role, e.g., PM, tester, authors, test leads)Importing test cycles into Octane: Test cycles defined by the dev teamTest cycles from business partners with no access to ALMSetting up test lab & planDefect management: Ensuring the right priority is assigned to defectsReporting on open/closed defectsDefect triagingClosure: Ensuring all major defects are closed and sign off is providedCleanup and closing project in ALM following project closureWhat You Need To SucceedIT: min 8 years (Required)Knowledge of test strategy, planning, execution, and analysis (Required)Experienced & Hands-On with SFDC and Integration testing planning, coordination and execution (Must), including SFDC Test AutomationTesting including planning, test execution, scripting and analysis (Must)Experience in Leading Testing activities and deliverable for SFDC and IntegrationsExpertise in Test Management Tool (Octane) settings and techniques, bug triaging, source control, test case design and release management8 years software testing; experience in both, waterfall and agile methodologies8+ years of strong knowledge of end-to-end test methodology (test strategy, test plan, SDLC, defect management and reporting metrics); risks management is desiredStrong foundation in systems testing and software QA best practices, methodologies and techniques encompassing the full build, test, and deploy cycleExperience with SFDC, SAP. Hands on execution. Test ManagementStrong computer skills and comfort level with technology and software release managementExperience with version control and build systemsAutomation exposure and experience is an assetSolid writing and communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skillsEducationBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience (Required)Relevant Tech SFDC Certifications (Must)OpenText\'s efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
