What You’ll DoAs a key member of the (Department) team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.Here’s what you can expect in your role:Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Global Distribution & Logistics the Supervisor, Global Logistics is responsible for leading Jamieson’s transportation team, as well as executing key projects and initiatives.Specific Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee transportation team – people & workload management, expedites and problem solvingAssist with carrier & mode selection based on shipment specificationsDeliver key initiatives & projects related to global transportationEffectively manage global transportation relationships with carriers & forwardersNegotiate mutually beneficial outcomes with internal & external partnersWorking in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities ProcedureWill comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. facilitiesOther duties or projects as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements+5 years of experience in global logistics – all modesExperience leading fast-paced transportation team(s)Comfortable managing diverse priorities & jumping in to execute when neededSolid understanding of import and export requirementsProfessional accreditation in logistics, supply chain or customs an assetStrong analytical abilities; Data analysis, problem solving, planningExcellent inter-personal and communication skills; ability to manage difficult conversationsNaturally focused on continuous improvement & personal development What Leadership Looks Like at JamiesonAt Jamieson Wellness, leadership means more than just managing a team; it means living our purpose of Inspiring Better Lives Every Day and modeling our values of Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Agility in everything we do.Our JWEL Leadership Competencies define what strong leadership looks like here.
