Position GoalThe Costing Analyst is responsible for conducting Pre- and Post-Buy America audits, Canadian Content audits, and Cost audits. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, supports accurate reporting, and contributes to the efficiency of costing processes across the organization.Essential FunctionsResponsible for preparing Pre-and Post-Buy America Analysis and auditsResponsible for preparing Pre-and Post-Canadian Content and auditsResponsible for requesting/updating/maintaining Buy America certificates throughout the yearResponsible for requesting/updating/maintaining Buy Canadian certificates throughout the yearRequest, pull invoices/quotes for Buy America auditsRequest, pull invoices/quotes for Canadian Content auditsRequest, pull invoices/quotes for Price/Cost analysis auditResponsible for updating process and manual for Pre/Post Buy America & Canadian Content tasksResponsible for filing related to Buy America and Canadian ContentAssist to schedule cost roll update, daily programs (no list price & future cost), and saving Oracle reports.Assist in preparing daily Inventory, WIP and In-transit Standard change reportsAssist in preparing weekly cost roll & update runtime HRS over the weekendAssist with year-end inventory countAssist with other Costing related functions as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or college diploma required; 1–2 years of equivalent accounting work experience will be consideredKnowledge of Bill of Materials preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required; experience with Oracle is an assetStrong analytical skills with accurate computer and calculation abilitiesGood communication and teamwork skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQuick learner with the ability to multitask; reliable and accountableFamiliarity with standard office equipment (computer, photocopier, printer, calculator)Our WhyWe exist to move people.
