Days of work are Monday to Fridays (08:00 to 16:00). A valid driver’s license is required. You may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and/or be assigned a fleet vehicle.

About the position: The Home Health Transformation initiative is designed to support the growing demand for home-based care, driven by population growth and the increasing preference from clients to receive care at home. It aims to ensure that people can live independently with the support they need, in their own homes and communities. By incorporating digital health tools, telehealth, and other technologies, the initiative aims to improve communication and coordination among healthcare teams, as well as provide clients with easier access to care and support while in their homes.
The Occupational Therapist will have a key role in a home health transformation team working both independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional occupational therapy services. Your responsibilities will include providing home health services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Qualfications - Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program. - Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. - Valid BC Driver’s license.
