They have the opportunity to conduct in-vivo exposure therapy and behavioural activation, and facilitate trauma processing, coping and return to function. Our innovative approach to evidence-based care incorporates novel interventions like virtual reality to promote industry-leading mental health outcomes. This program is one of a kind and allows you to become an expert in a growing and niche space within our OT profession. Click here to see the life-changing work we do with our clientsOccupational Therapists within our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients presenting with various physical (musculoskeletal, orthopaedic), cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Working in a community setting, you will have the opportunity to complete in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment and several other interventions.
