We are seeking a mission‑aligned individual with strong collaboration, communication, and strategic skills to serve as Treasurer on our volunteer Board of Directors. As Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, the Treasurer leads NSCR’s financial oversight and governance. The role ensures strong fiscal management through regular review of budgets, reports, and audits, and by maintaining compliance with the Committee’s Terms of Reference. The Treasurer provides regular updates and recommendations to the Board to support effective decision‑making. Skills and Qualifications CPA designation (current or past), or equivalent accounting/financial management experience. At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit or public sector financial management. Strong communication, leadership, and planning skills. Time Commitment Approximately 4‑6 hours per month, including 5‑6 Board meetings annually and Finance Committee work.
