Job posting end date: 12/15/2025 Introduction We are seeking a Pump Regional Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for executing the individual Sales Plan for all products under the Slurry Pumps product line within the assigned territory. This sales role requires a high level of experience selling directly to end‑users as well as through third‑party distribution channels. The Regional Sales Manager is required to have proven sales and/or technical experience in the slurry pump industry, ideally within the mining, aggregates and oil & gas market segments, and you will report to the Director of Pump Sales. This position can be located in Montreal, Sudbury or any part of Eastern Canada. However, it involves up to 50‑70% travel to customer sites. Team you belong to: You will join a team of Pumps experts dedicated to providing solutions to all stakeholders and customers. We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Sale Account Managers and Field Services Engineers. Our team culture is all about providing the best solutions for the customer and internal stakeholders. What you’ll do: Drive Sales & Growth: Lead the sales initiatives for Slurry Pumps, Parts, and Services within your assigned region. Cultivate new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships, both directly and through third‑party distribution channels. Target Achievement: Work closely with Metso’s account managers and distributors to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. You’ll be responsible for managing activities, reporting on customer visits, tracking sales in SalesForce.com, and driving performance across all levels. Strategic Dealer Management: Develop and execute robust dealer management plans, including sales goals, training initiatives, and quarterly performance reviews. Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to optimize dealer territories. Market Expansion: Partner with customer service and sales support teams to develop growth strategies that expand market share and foster new opportunities. Contribute to pricing strategies that increase competitiveness and drive business success. Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between Metso and customers, providing exceptional service, deepening relationships, and ensuring Metso’s offerings are perfectly aligned with client needs. Collaboration & Communication: Work cross‑functionally with teams within Metso to share knowledge, identify new opportunities, and support the broader sales initiatives. Who you are: Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales, particularly within the slurry pump industry, and a strong understanding of customer needs in the mining, aggregates, and oil & gas markets. Excellent Communicator: Strong relationship‑building skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to interact at all levels within customer organisations. Self‑Starter & Leader: A proactive and highly motivated individual, capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and delivering results under pressure. Travel‑Ready: Prepared for 50‑70% travel to customer sites across North East US, including remote areas. A flexible, on‑the‑go mindset is key to success in this role.
