Responsibilities Refine business challenges into AI‑solvable problems, translate high‑level business objectives into concrete AI/ML technical roadmaps, and design robust, scalable, and secure AI solution architectures. Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of end‑to‑end AI/ML pipelines and systems; provide hands‑on technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to data scientists and ML engineers. Oversee the AI/ML lifecycle: data acquisition, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment (AI Ops), and monitoring while staying abreast of cutting‑edge research. Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of data, automation, AI engineers, and software developers; facilitate seamless integration with product, engineering, and business teams. Identify and mitigate complex technical risks related to AI performance, scalability, data governance, and system reliability; champion ethical AI principles. Communicate complex AI concepts, architectural decisions, and project progress to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Lead the adoption and maturation of AI Ops best practices; establish rigorous quality assurance processes and performance metrics for AI systems. Ensure AI solutions adhere to highest standards of quality, security, data privacy, and ethical AI guidelines; drive process improvements for AI development and deployment. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI‑ACP, Certified ScrumMaster) is an asset. Demonstrated capability in leading AI/ML projects and supporting transformational initiatives. Strong technical knowledge of AI and ML concepts, frameworks, and practices. Experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure Machine Learning, and Power BI. Data literacy, including understanding of data pipelines, quality, and impact on AI solutions. Proven project management skills; ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex initiatives. Stakeholder management skills to align technical teams and business leaders. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for iterative delivery. Awareness of ethical and regulatory considerations in AI, data privacy, and responsible AI use. Strong leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration across teams.
