Overview This position is responsible for managing Buckland’s credit risk across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The Credit Analyst oversees credit reviews, sets and maintains credit limits, defines payment terms, and reviews customer onboarding and credit agreements. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with financial data, and a proactive approach to working with internal systems and external financial partners. Recommend and maintain credit limits and payment terms based on customer profiles and market conditions. Review and manage customer credit agreements to ensure compliance with Buckland’s policies and regional regulations. Maintain and update credit data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Customer Engagement (CE/CRM) platforms. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of credit workflows across ERP and CRM systems. Support automation and reporting initiatives using Power BI and Excel-based analytics. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, including credit vetting and documentation. Liaise with Buckland’s banking partners and accounts receivable insurance providers to maintain accurate credit profiles and ensure coverage. Provide timely updates and documentation to support credit insurance renewals and claims. Monitor customer payment behavior and proactively address delinquencies or credit risks in coordination with other departments to coordinate action plans. Deliver regular reports to the VP of Finance on credit exposure, customer risk trends, and portfolio performance. Use data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation. What we need from you Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in a multinational or logistics environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and CE (CRM). Strong Excel skills and experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English; Spanish is an asset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies. Familiarity with trade credit insurance and cross-border financial compliance. Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
