Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for an IT Sales Associate, based in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. This role will focus on identifying and generating leads, managing accounts, and driving sales of IT products and services. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored technology solutions. This role also involves collaborating with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and staying abreast of advancements in IT products and services. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and engage new business opportunities within the small‑to‑medium and enterprise B2B markets. Consultative Sales: Conduct needs analysis and lead consultative sales conversations with C‑level executives, decision‑makers, and IT stakeholders to position ATS solutions effectively. Solution Selling: Partner with technical teams to design and present tailored Managed Services and IT solutions that solve client challenges. Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in ATS’s CRM system to ensure reliable reporting. Revenue & Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and relationship retention. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Continuous Improvement: Apply sales best practices, strategies, and frameworks, while actively seeking ways to improve sales processes and efficiency. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service, trust, and loyalty. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–10+ years of proven success in B2B sales, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Experience in consultative selling, solution‑based sales, or enterprise sales. Familiarity with sales strategies, frameworks, and methodologies; ability to apply them effectively in complex sales cycles. Experience in technology or IT services is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with C‑level executives and key decision‑makers. Analytical and strategic thinker with a problem‑solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and accounts simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales reporting tools.
