This position is for an Intermediate Property Accountant based out of our Toronto offices and has a hybrid schedule with three days in office.

About the role:

As an Intermediate Property Accountant within our REMS team, you'll play a pivotal role in working with a commercial portfolio. You thrive on working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports, and continually seek opportunities for process improvements.

  • Successfully complete monthly reporting and assist your Accounting Manager in audit processes.
  • Coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of dynamic property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Ability and experience in working to financial deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills.

Bonus skills and experience:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting.
  • CPA designation completed or in progress is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi software.
