Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Job Type: Full-time Remote within Canada Location: Remote Canada Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure using tools like Rancher and Helm. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD to enable seamless application delivery. Configure and manage container registries such as Harbor and Artifactory. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Fluentd/Fluentbit. Ensure security best practices, including SAST tools like Checkmarx and Sonar, and manage certificates using Certificate Manager. Manage secrets securely using Vault and integrate secret management into CI/CD pipelines. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner. Required Skills & Qualifications Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, including Rancher, Helm, and security configurations. 8+ years of hands‑on experience with GitLab CI, GitHub, Jenkins, or ArgoCD for building and automating pipelines. Proficiency in managing secrets securely using Vault or similar tools. Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and Loki for observability. Knowledge of Ceph, longhorn, S3 or portworks for managing persistent storage in Kubernetes environments. Familiarity with Checkmarx and Sonar for static application security testing. Experience in managing deployments in air‑gapped environments. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and network security best practices. Experience with Harbor and Artifactory for managing container images. Experience with Kong for API gateway and ingress management. Understanding of Active Directory for authentication and access control. Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMWare and Hypervisors. Knowledge of SQL, Trino, and Iceberg for distributed data processing. Must be eligible for up to a Top Secret Security Clearance.
