We are seeking a Business Value Consultant to serve as a trusted strategic advisor for the deployment of BSS/OSS software solutions. In this role, you will provide technical leadership in customer and partner program activities, including solution architecture, design, development, testing, migration, and support. You will collaborate with sales, solution engineering, and product marketing teams to drive value-selling initiatives and create robust business cases for technology deployments.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
- Work closely with sales and solution engineering teams on high-priority, strategic customer engagements.
- Collaborate with product marketing to develop thought leadership content around value-selling initiatives.
- Present and develop ROI models that demonstrate the business value of deploying solutions, focusing on how these solutions address customers' business challenges and drive value creation.
- Create and deliver sales enablement resources that guide sales and solutions teams, including ROI models that quantify the financial impact of implementing solutions and insights into customers' processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead consultative sales processes by defining business outcomes and presenting tailored value propositions to prospective customers.
- Analyze costs, revenue, and other financial impacts associated with technology implementations.
- Pitch solutions to C-suite executives, with strong skills in handling objections and addressing executive concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engagement leaders, solution architects, designers, and other partners, to deliver successful business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in consulting on enterprise-level technology transformation programs, particularly in the telecom sector.
- Proven sales support experience, including scoping, proposal development, RFP response, and delivering demos/presentations.
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Business Strategy, Product Management, Agile methodologies, Program Governance, Experience Design, Change Management, and Value Realization.
- Deep understanding of key business value drivers and success metrics typical of large-enterprise organizations.
- Strong ability to define clear business outcomes and lead consultative sales processes with tailored value propositions.
- Proficiency in analyzing the financial impact of technology implementations, including costs, revenue, and other financial considerations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information and think creatively in ambiguous or data-scarce situations.
- Comfortable pitching and presenting to C-suite executives with effective objection-handling abilities.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a strong advantage.
- Hyperscale experience is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments, working effectively with various teams and partners.
