Our personable sidewalk robot delivers to congested streets, making deliveries available to more people and benefiting local businesses. The fleet has delivered in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago. We are tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design, solving real‑world problems with robotics, machine learning, and computer vision.ResponsibilitiesDefine project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for various operations and expansion projects including local network upgrades, pilot workstations, new vendor bring up, expansion to new cities/countries, User and remote operator interfaces, and teleoperation expansions.Lead and coordinate efforts across engineering teams, product managers, operations teams, policy, and business stakeholders.Gather requirements, align priorities, and communicate project status updates effectively to non technical leaders.Develop and implement processes that streamline workflows and improve efficiency.Analyze and update existing processes and identify areas for optimization and improvement.Coordinate broad communication efforts to keep all teams informed and aligned.Create detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and status reports to maintain transparency and accountability.Create detailed processes with artifacts that can be easily implemented and understood by a broad audience.QualificationsBS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent job experience5+ years of experience in engineering program management or technical program management5+ years experience with software, hardware, or autonomous systemsExperience successfully articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical partnersStrong technical knowledge of autonomous systems: including testing, bring up, integration, and deploymentStrong track record of managing complex cross-functional projects and shipping product features in a production environmentExperience building strong working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across functions and departmentsAn ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audienceDesired QualitiesMS degree in computer science, engineeringExperience with products that include policy or regulatory aspectsExperience with robotics products, especially ones running in public spacesAdditional InformationTravel up to 5% of the time for team meetings in various locations across the USPlease note: The base salary range listed in this job description reflects compensation for candidates based in the United States.
