Early Childhood Educator

  • Program Implementation – plan and implement long-range goals, weekly lessons and themed units. Assess each child’s development and respond to individual needs. Promote teamwork among staff and volunteers and build partnerships with parents.
  • Communication – Ensure that the Administrator is kept informed of significant child to child and child to staff interactions as well as pertinent communication with families.
  • Facilities Supplies and Equipment - Ensure that all equipment is clean and well-maintained and supplies are adequate.
  • Regulatory Requirements - Ensure that all health and safety protocols are implemented and all regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
  • Professional Development - Promote professional development through workshops and professional organizations.
Basic ECE
  • Excellent understanding of principles of child development and preschool educational methods
  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ, actively involved in their local church, who seeks to serve Jesus in every aspect of life.
  • Able to teach basic Christian concepts as revealed in the Bible
  • Strong communication and instructional skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality around sensitive matters.
  • Personality, ability and temperament to work with children and maintain a supportive and caring environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
