p>The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is seeking a staff scientist with a specialized focus on quantitative health services research in relation to neurodevelopmental disabilities, mental health, and health care delivery in adulthood. In this capacity, the successful candidate will report directly to the Director of the Centre, spearheading critical research initiatives to engage with both the scientific and mental health care communities associated with the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre.
  1. Establishment and management of a robust health services research program and team.
  2. Generate and explore innovative research ideas.
  3. Contribute to the education of emerging scientists and trainees.
  4. Promote knowledge exchange within the field of adult neurodevelopmental disabilities and beyond.
  5. Lead the development and implementation of impactful policy-relevant research.
  6. Support research tied to clinical services at CAMH.
  7. Participate in hospital, provincial, and national health service research efforts.
  8. Establish collaborations at the local, national, and international levels.
  9. Provide practical supervision of undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral trainees, and technical staff.
  10. Disseminate research results through presentations and communication with key decision-makers.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. PhD in psychology, health services research, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate research experience focused on health services research in the neurodevelopmental disabilities population.
  3. Experience working with population-level data and partnerships with relevant knowledge users in policy and practices.
  4. Eligibility for an academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level (or higher).
  5. Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
