Purpose

The Continuing Education Teacher will work with Grade 8 students transitioning to Grade 9. Through this unique learning opportunity students will work towards attaining their first high school credit while building skills and content knowledge through their exposure to the Family Studies curriculum. Introduction to Family Studies, HIF 10. Qualifications

Valid Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification, in good standing, and qualifications for the position as warranted. Family Studies additional qualifications and/or experience an asset Hours of Work: 5 hours of student learning/day (1.25 hrs synchronous minimum/day & 3.75 hrs asynchronous)

June 27-June 28: Training, Collaboration and Prep

July 3-July 31: In class sessions Location: The successful candidate will support students in the Superior-Greenstone District School Board region through student-familiar virtual platforms and various communication tools

Applications MUST include a resume outlining qualifications, experience and an up-to-date Certificate of Qualification.

Applicants must also submit the names of three (3) professional references, one of whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with telephone numbers and email addresses, and a written authorization from the applicant permitting the Board to contact these references.
