Opportunity The Clinical Quality Consultant is part of the Integrated Quality Management (IQM) portfolio supporting the Edmonton Zone. This position offers the opportunity to work across diverse healthcare settings and collaborate with staff and leaders at multiple levels. As a key member of the IQM team, you will provide ongoing leadership in fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to influence culture change through representation of the quality management body of knowledge in strategic program development. Influence change management in the development and implementation of new and improvement initiatives (e.g., Connect Care). Facilitate the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives related to service improvement, patient safety and accreditation standards. Required Qualifications Completion of a baccalaureate degree in a healthcare or related field (e.g., nursing, allied health, human factors). Registered with an appropriate professional college. Minimum of 5 years of recent diverse clinical and/or managerial healthcare experience in a complex, large organization. Demonstrated leadership, organizational and team‑building skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships and to work both independently and interdependently. Additional Required Qualifications Experience and skills in group facilitation techniques with multidisciplinary teams of various sizes. Ability to research, monitor and analyze data for decision‑making and recommendations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Capability to work in multiple settings in person and virtually. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Connect Care. Self‑directed and able to work with minimal supervision; strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead change in a complex environment based on frameworks like PROSCI, IHI, and Alberta Improvement Way. Comfort with decision‑making responsibilities and the ability to inspire and build confidence. Flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Extensive knowledge of evidence‑based practice, accreditation principles, quality and safety methodologies, and knowledge translation. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a clinical field, business or healthcare administration.
