You will play a crucial role in supporting the production and operation of our facility. This is a repetitive, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong work ethic.ResponsibilitiesShovelling steel turnings and cleaning processing chutesRepetitive heavy lifting and standing for long periods of timeSorting and segregating different types of ferrous and non ferrous materialsOperating machinery and equipment used in the recycling processInspecting, loading, and unloading of customer vehicles and trucksConducting basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areasQualificationsYou are able to work in a partially covered area with exposure to various weather conditionsYou are comfortable working in a loud, dusty, heavy industrial environmentYou are comfortable performing repetitive lifting up to 65lbsYou have the ability to work in a physically demanding environmentYou have a willingness to learn and perform various tasksYou have clear communication skills and are comfortable working with members of the publicYou have previous experience in a industrial, warehouse, or recycling environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
