We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Hardware Engineer DVT to join our team. Location: Mississauga, Ontario Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures. Design test equipment for CCAsandLRUs. Execute test procedures on CCAsandLRUs Mentor junior engineers on writing test cases, procedures and executing test cases Understanding of aerospace electronics circuits, assembly drawings, Gerbers, etc. Prepare concept diagrams of prototypes, test interfaces, test equipment, etc. Plan allocation of test cases and test procedures to junior engineers and document change impact analysis. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent. 6+ years of experience in electronics design involving test procedure and test equipment development in aerospace is required. Experience with hands-on test Equipment (ATE, Test Jig) development in aerospace is required. Experience with development of hardware test cases, test procedures and execution of test procedures in aerospace isrequired. Experience with medium complex schematic design is an asset. Experience with safety critical system (DAL A, B, C) verification and validation is an asset. Experience with lab testing (EMI/Environmental) is an asset. Good verbal and written communication skills. Prior working experience in aerospace is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
