Senior Payroll Implementation ConsultantJoin to apply for the Senior Payroll Implementation Consultant role at IRIS Software Group.As a Senior Payroll Implementation Advisor at PSI Payroll Services Inc. (PSI), part of the IRIS Software Group, you will lead new Canadian clients through the process of setting up their payrolls with PSI. This is not a payroll processing role; it focuses on configuration, compliance, and client partnership.Your work uses your deep knowledge of Canadian payroll to configure systems, validate data, test results, and guide clients through their first live payroll runs. You’ll also train and support clients, ensuring every setup is compliant, accurate, and delivered with care. Your role directly shapes client experience and trust with PSI and IRIS Software Group.This role can be based anywhere in Ontario, Canada, with a planned start date of November 2025.Why This Role MattersYou make payroll work. Access to career growth, learning, and development opportunities within IRIS Software Group.What You’ll Be DoingBe the main contact for new Canadian clients during onboarding.Lead discovery sessions and perform gap analysis to design the right payroll setup.Configure payroll systems and ensure all company and employee data is accurate.Guide clients through testing, validation, and their first live payrolls.Process initial live runs where needed and facilitate a smooth handover to Operations.Train clients on payroll systems, reports, and best practices.Assess client complexity to balance workloads effectively.Identify process improvements and share feedback with the Head of Implementation.Support audits, year-end tasks (T4s, RL-1s, ROEs), and special projects.What We’re Looking ForHands-on payroll implementation experience – setting up or configuring payroll systems for Canadian clients, not just processing pay runs.Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance – federal and multi-province rules.Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Dayforce, Ceridian, or similar platforms.Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification (required).Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) certification (an asset).Understanding of Canadian tax laws, reporting, and employment standards.Excellent data validation and troubleshooting skills.Project management skills – ability to handle multiple clients and priorities with strong organization.Confident communication and client-handling skills.Detail-oriented mindset – accuracy and quality from first time.What You’ll GainImpact from day one – support clients through their first payrolls with confidence.Career growth – develop expertise within IRIS, a global payroll and HR leader.Specialist knowledge – deepen understanding of complex Canadian payroll regulations.A supportive team – collaborate with colleagues who value accuracy and client success.Competitive salary and benefits – rewards for experience and expertise.Our Application ProcessWe keep things clear and supportive:Submit your CV and details of your Canadian payroll experience.Have a chat with our Talent team.Complete two short assessments: CCAT (15-minute timed test) and another evaluation as part of the process.Meet the Implementation team to learn more about PSI and IRIS and the role.At PSI, payroll is about trust, compliance, and care.
