The Opportunity The Pharmacy Clerk has primary responsibility for accurately picking and packing prescription orders, preparing orders for delivery, arranging courier shipments, ordering supplies, scanning prescription/delivery paperwork, maintaining inventory, receiving stock, and general pharmacy maintenance/cleaning. The role also includes administrative duties such as processing statements and payments, triaging phone calls, prescription processing and other duties as assigned. A Day in the Life Pick, label and package medication orders Prepare orders for delivery Arrange courier shipments Maintain accurate drug and supply inventory, including purchasing and receiving medications and supply items, checking expiration dates, assisting with ordering and performing scheduled inventory counts Scan and file pharmacy paperwork including prescription and delivery records Assist with prescription processing, preparation of compounding worksheets (where applicable) and reporting Triage incoming phone calls Clean and maintain the pharmacy Deliver or pick up orders on an occasional basis Process account payments and account receivable statements Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements Contribute to review of policies and procedures as they pertain to pharmacy operations Monitor fridge temperatures and report variances to the Pharmacy Manager Attend and participate in staff meetings Perform other duties as assigned by manager What You Need High school diploma Previous pharmacy experience is an asset Experience with Kroll and MS Office is an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required; additional languages are an asset Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to self–manage time, set daily priorities and multi‑task to meet competing deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds What Makes You a Great Fit Commitment to providing a high level of service to internal and external clients Highly adaptable with a track record of success during growth and change Track record of developing trust and influence at multiple levels Impactful and candid communication style Exceptional organizational skills and ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and stakeholders Benefits Competitive salary and generous vacation entitlement Wellness program (5 paid days off for well‑being) Paid sick days Competitive benefits package including Dental & Extended Health Benefits, AD&D, LTD & Employee/Dependent Life Insurance Employee & Family Assistance Program Sentrex Health Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, belonging, equity, and accessibility.
