OverviewDatabase Integration Developer role at Long View Systems in our Calgary office. You will engage in enterprise database and integration initiatives that modernize legacy systems and enable scalable, future-ready architectures.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain robust Java-based applications and servicesLead database migrations ensuring performance and reliabilityCollaborate on complex integration projects leveraging platforms such as SAP PIDrive the modernization integrations into microservices and cloud-native solutionsApply best practices in physical database design across Oracle and SQL Server environmentsUse Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project trackingSupport escalations — serve as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting and problem resolutionProduce high-quality documentation (HLDs, LLDs, as-builts, runbooks, transition to operations)What You Bring5+ Years of experience in Java programming and enterprise application development5+ Years of experience in migrating databases from Oracle 11G to PostgreSQL3+ years of experience with Tibco ESB and SAP PI integrationsDeep knowledge of physical database design principles in Oracle and SQL ServerExperience working with Azure DevOps tools and workflowExperience converting Tibco integrations into microservices is a strong assetFamiliarity with cloud-native development and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesWhat Makes You Extra AwesomeYou’ve helped transition Tibco-based solutions into microservicesFluent in Tibco ESB and comfortable integrating with SAP PIConsulting or pre-sales experience in a professional services environmentThrive in collaborative environments, leveraging Azure DevOps to keep teams alignedWhy Work at Long View?Great people and cultureRecognition programsFun is one of our core valuesInteresting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesFlexible environment – A workplace that values flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness and wellnessSalary: $80,455 - $105,598 a year.
