BTR Excavations is a well-established Civil Construction company in Adelaide North, with over 25 years in the Civil Construction industry. Due to sustained growth, we require an additional experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position will operate from our Workshop in Waterloo Corner (mobile site work also) working Monday - Friday with on call requirements on occasional nights & weekends. We have a large fleet of earthmoving equipment, heavy vehicles and light vehicles. This role would be suitable for a locally based candidate and will be responsible for conducting all servicing, maintenance and repairs for our fleet with preferred experience in Iveco trucks, JCB Backhoes, Hitachi Excavators. Responsibilities: Undertaking and completion of scheduled maintenance, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and general fleet maintenance. Attending to breakdowns and diagnosis of maintenance problems. Completion of all necessary paperwork - maintenance checklists, work orders, service reports. Completing general heavy vehicle and mobile plant maintenance General servicing, repairs, scheduled maintenance, breakdowns on all plant and equipment. Requirements: Proven experience in the service and repair of civil mobile plant HR drivers licence or above (highly desirable) Relevant licenses and tickets (Air‑con ticket and Auto‑electrical experience highly desirable) Ability to complete tasks within timeframes Experience with component change‑outs and breakdowns Ability to work independently and in a team Flexibility in your working hours Experience in keeping job diaries/tracking systems Display a commitment to WHS We offer: Permanent employment and full‑time work Opportunity to work on variety of plant, vehicles and equipment Company field service unit Work with a great team of people everyday To Apply: Please send your application along with tickets/licenses to: Thank you for taking the time to apply for this position.
