Civil Forman

Black & McDonald’s Moncton office is looking for a full-time hands‑on leader with a passion for civil work that can work on a wide variety of projects from excavation to concrete forming projects. You would be working with a team of experienced workers in a safe working environment in Moncton and the various locations throughout New Brunswick. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading and mentoring a hardworking crew, ensuring every project runs smoothlyCivil work including grading, excavation, conduit installation, compactionBuilding and setting up concrete forms to precise specificationsPouring and finishing concrete – forming and finishing skills are a mustOperating equipment such as small excavators, tampers, cut‑off saws, and skid steersCollaborating with Project Managers and other teams to get the job done rightReading and interpreting blueprints and site plans to execute top‑notch workWork Experience Requirements:2+ years of hands‑on concrete experienceA valid Class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract2+ years operating equipmentA team player with great organizational and time management skillsSomeone who can handle the physical demands – lifting 50+ lbs, standing, walking, and bending for long hoursAdapt easily to a variety of tasksComfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weatherMust be able to get a variety of security clearancesWhy Join UsOpportunities to develop roles and responsibilitiesCompany vehicleTeam environmentSafety our #1 focusPay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 45hrs per week (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities)Union pay/benefits#LI-MN2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
