Key Responsibilities Work closely with Product Management, R&D, Mechanical Engineering, ERP Management, Software Engineering, Marketing, Sales & Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to support: Defining product development project scope by compiling Voice of Customer and competitor offering documentation. Full-scale modelling and drafting for new products. Product testing and certification. Sourcing of prototype components and leading in-house assembly. Develop BOMs and support ERP Management with Epicor integration. Support Software with product detail implementation. Provide support material for Marketing including brochure data, product renders, 3D Printed Models, and IO&Ms. Population of sales drawings and other submittal related details for Sales & Applications. Support Manufacturing with product documentation development such as Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Support Operations with production run builds and continuous improvement. Experience and Skills Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 3+ years experience in HVAC OEM design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with 3D CAD Modelling (SolidWorks preferred). Experience with heat recovery units would be an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment in a hands-on position. Team player with positive attitude, excellent collaborative, and interpersonal skills. Excellent ability to multitask and work efficiently within deadlines. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and documentation practices. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and be part of a dynamic team environment. Knowledge of basic principles, methods, and practices of sheet metal design and fabrication. Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems is an asset About You You have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering. You have a minimum of 3 years’ design experience in the HVAC OEM industry.
