Staff DevOps Engineer

Our mission is to become the world's largest gaming company by delivering cutting-edge technology and unparalleled user experiences.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our DevOps function and guide the organization toward a strong DevOps culture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment systems across our AWS environment.This role is both strategic and hands-on — ideal for someone who can build and lead a high-performing DevOps team, establish best practices, and ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our development and operations workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesDevOps Leadership: Champion DevOps principles and best practices across engineering, product, and operations teams. Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert in DevOps.Infrastructure Ownership: Take complete ownership of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-efficiency. Manage cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions (or similar) to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the adoption and implementation of IaC using AWS CDK to manage infrastructure across all environments.Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement observability tools and establish incident response playbooks to ensure reliability and fast recovery during outages or incidents.Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security best practices, including least-privilege IAM, audit logging, and secrets management.Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing DevOps team.
