IT Transformation Vice President

- Overall leadership, strategic direction, and successful operation of the Information Technology department.
- Working with the Executive and Operations Leaders to build digital discipline across the enterprise – not just in IT.
- Leading the development and execution of the IT strategic plan in collaboration with operations and the IT Leadership team. Aligning IT priorities and projects with strategic business objectives and resources.
- Ensuring timelines, scope of projects and budgets are consistently achieved.
- Maintaining the integrity, reliability, and security of all systems and builds organization awareness and strength in cyber-security.
- Promoting a performance-based culture within IT focused on delivering excellent customer service to all departments. Ensuring new systems and upgrade projects adhere to our IT policies and industry best practices.
- Ensuring effective and efficient IT policies and procedures are maintained, audited and enhanced.
- Defining and improving all system and network operations processes.
- Negotiating contracts with manufacturers for all software, hardware and consulting services, hold vendors accountable for delivery of products. Managing positive external vendor relationships and services.
- Maintaining a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of current products.
- Researching and leveraging new technologies to transform business outcomes to process automation.
- Providing leadership coaching, career development and professional guidance to team members to ensure future succession planning.
The ideal candidate has:
- College or University degree in Information Technology or Systems Engineering.
- Ten (10) years of multi-disciplined IT experience showing increasing levels of management and technical responsibility. li>
- Five (5) years’ experience in the gaming or complex hospitality industry an asset.
- Well-developed and sophisticated communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage relations at various levels within an organization.
- Excellent technical, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong change management and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated track record of technical and business acumen, leadership, and innovation.
