Claims Advisor - Accident Benefits at Allstate Canada Join the Allstate Canada team as a remote Claims Advisor for Accident Benefits, handling complex first‑party injury claims. Role Overview Reporting to the Manager, Casualty Claims AB, you will work with the New Brunswick team to interpret insurance policy wording, investigate and settle accident benefits claims, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Accountabilities Interpret insurance policy wording and determine coverage for Accident Benefit claims. Investigate, negotiate, and settle moderate to high‑complexity claims via telephone, in person, or written correspondence. Comply with best practices as outlined in Allstate policies and procedures. Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough documentation of all files. Set and define customer service expectations and solve customer problems. Maintain a caseload reflective of a Senior Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits. Communicate professionally with claimants, vendors, medical professionals, and lawyers. Collaborate with a team of Accident Benefit Adjusters and Claims Assistants. Qualifications Post‑secondary education preferred or equivalent. 1–2 years of relevant Accident Benefits experience. Completion of CIP designation or willingness to pursue it. Prior insurance experience and knowledge of injury claims, medical rehabilitation, and terminology. Strong time‑management, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication with a commitment to outstanding customer service. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
