Financial Systems Analyst

Warman Home Centre LP is an industry leading integrated home construction, manufacturing, and retail operation. We are currently looking for a full-time permanent Financial System Analyst, located in Warman, Saskatchewan.

Key responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial System Analyst is part of a larger administrative team responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of Warman Home Centre LP. The Financial System Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing our ERP system, using their accounting and financial system experience to provide software functionality support, assist with internal control development, and financial reporting.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with inventory accounting and maintenance of inventory module
• Assist with work in progress accounting & reporting
• Assist with the maintenance of ERP software including functionality testing and process design
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems and processes
• Collaborate with other divisions as needed to improve processes and to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist with internal control development and maintenance
• Assist in the implementation and integration of new systems and software
• Documentation and provision of end user training materials
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

The successful individual will have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems from a recognized institution
• A minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience is a must have
• Strong understanding of financial systems, databases, and software
• Proven experience as a Financial System Analyst or similar role
• Understanding and ability to apply ASPE
• Strong computer (MS Office – Excel, accounting software) skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools as an asset
