Job title: iOS Developer Location: Montvale, NJ Duration: 18 months Job Description: Strong mobile app developer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks. Primary focus on implementing new user interfaces and features together with automated unit and integration tests. Work with a candid and collaborative team, where knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest mobile technologies are highly appreciated. Write cleanly organized, high‑quality code. Help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience through modern engineering observability tools. Objectives of this role Translate the company vision to a mobile application via clean coding. Design next‑gen mobile models with high‑quality development. Manage the entire app evolution process from ideation to execution, monitoring, and support. Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver the best solutions. Develop new features, A/B tests, and user interfaces from wireframe models. Perform periodic testing and improve mobile app usability. Build design interfaces per product & business requirements. Provide on‑call support for critical issues in production apps. Troubleshoot, resolve, and monitor issues with iOS and Android implementations. Provide well‑architected technical solutions and recommendations. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and peer engineers on product requirements and acceptance criteria. Write clean, readable, and testable React Native code. Required skills and qualifications Extensive knowledge about mobile app development, including the full software development lifecycle for both Android and iOS apps. Deep knowledge of Android and iOS. Prior experience as a mobile application developer. Proficiency with automated tests in JUnit, Jest, etc. Familiarity with APIs, REST, and mobile networking libraries. Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications. Familiarity with push notifications. Understanding of mobile app design guidelines on each platform. Understanding of OpenID login integrations. Proficiency in TypeScript, React Native, Firebase, BitRise or any other CI/CD platform. Experience implementing observability via tools like Splunk, SignalFx, LaunchDarkly, etc. Experience implementing experimentation tools like LaunchDarkly. Preferred skills and qualifications A portfolio of all previous mobile applications created and released. A problem‑solving approach to mobile app development. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask. Knowledge of Java or similar programming languages.
