Join us in our mission to help children thrive and families flourish A little about our Strategy, Policy & Quality Assurance Division The Strategy, Policy & Quality Assurance (SPQA) Division provides leadership to all aspects of Mothercraft’s ambitious 10-year strategic plan, “Vision2031”. This includes the development of implementation plans, oversight of data collection and evaluation activities, and responsibility for measuring and reporting progress to the Board of Directors and stakeholders. The Division oversees the ongoing review of existing policies, development of new policies and ensures compliance with the regulatory requirements of Mothercraft’s various service areas in collaboration with other Mothercraft Divisions. The Division will also identify and pursue opportunities that may arise through grant‑writing, partnership development and/or new initiatives that align with the strategic plan. Job Summary As our newest Policy & Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring robust policies and procedures are in place to guide day‑to‑day operations of all Mothercraft program and administrative departments. You will provide support to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and program requirements and track and analyze quality metrics. Sound exciting? Here’s a little more… As a Policy & Quality Assurance Officer, you will… Implement all aspects of policy development, review, revision, and approval in consultation with the Director of SPQA, appropriate program/department managers, divisional directors, and the Executive Director. Review all Mothercraft policies on a regular basis to ensure that they are up-to-date and reflect current legal/regular requirements and/or best practices within the organization’s service sectors. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to assess Mothercraft’s policy framework and policies against those in the industry to ensure the highest standards of practice and compliance. Work closely with the Director of SPQA and senior leadership to develop and implement quality assurance tracking measures and analyze and visualize findings. Research and recommend opportunities for new initiatives that align with Mothercraft's Mission, Vision, and Values, and the objectives of the strategic plan. You will set up for success if you have… A university degree required, graduate degree is an asset. Minimum five (5) years of experience in community service organization, including providing strategic support to leadership. Experience in a regulated environment in a licensed childcare and/or private career college preferred. Experience in policy analysis, review, and writing. Experience with data collection, survey development, analysis, and visualization. Satisfactory vulnerable sector police reference check.
