How your role will add to the story You will manage effective communication, working relationships, expectations, and agreements with internal business partners, IT partners (market, region, HQ), and vendors. You will also serve as a strategic liaison and project manager of medium and small‑size IT projects, planning, designing, developing, and launching end‑to‑end digital solutions and enhancements, and managing the entire lifecycle of digital products. You will report directly to the Manager of Digital Business Consulting and work with business partners, IT partners, Procurement team, and external vendors. A day in the life Lead small to medium‑sized IT projects, ensuring successful execution. Oversee the planning, design, development, and implementation of user‑friendly digital solutions and enhancements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Harmonize, optimize, and integrate business processes and technology solutions across multiple departments and applications. Act as a strategic liaison between business units and IT, leveraging cross‑divisional synergies and providing expert guidance for alignment. Mentor and support system/application related consultants, support, and issue fixing. Develop and maintain effective communication, working relationships, and agreements with internal business units, local, regional, and HQ IT teams, and external vendors. Gain deep understanding of internal business processes and value chains. Stay abreast of emerging IT technologies and trends. Assess and advise on the impact of technology on business models, identifying opportunities for innovation. Explore and develop new revenue streams through IT‑driven initiatives. Lead and inspire a cultural shift in line with Leadership principles and departmental strategies. Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits University degree in IT and/or Industrial/Economical Engineering, Business Administration or similar. 5+ years’ working experience in Information Technology. Strong experience of implementing digital solutions in sales and customer services domains. Expert knowledge of Master Data Management, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Financial Accounting business processes. 3+ years of working experience as project manager and business consultant. Ability to work on intercultural projects and within intercultural teams. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. Must express complex and technical information in business‑management terms. Excellent analysis and strong critical and strategic thinking skills. General “tech‑savvy” and up‑to‑date with current technology and trends. Certified PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner is an asset. Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yourself.
